Hello, I love the sound design of Overwatch, but I think that particular sound covers a bit too much of the spectrum. Here's what I mean: Most of the firing sounds in the game are pretty focused on either the high or low end frequencies. You have the deep, bassy sounds (like pharah, lucio, reaper, etc...) and you have the higher sounds (like tracer, sombra, dva, etc...). This helps reduce strain on the ears and make the sound environment a little less cluttered. With Zenyatta's orbs, it covers a full spectrum, from very high to very low sounds, and it can be exhausting to listen to. It feels great to shoot, but I think the effect would still work if the volume was taken down a notch. I need to have my volume loud enough to hear Genji's footsteps behind me (extremely quiet sound) but at that volume it becomes really hard to stand the constant noise of his primary fire. I've found this isn't a problem with the firing sounds of dps characters I've played, and I think it's because their primary fire is restricted to a certain frequency range. Thanks Please help I didn't find the right solution from the Internet References: us.battle.net/forums/overwatch/topicBusiness Ad Campaign
